SOUL FOOD FILMS

SOUL FOOD FILMS is a boutique international sales and production company based in
Southeastern Europe, founded in 2010 with a mission to bring bold and authentic European
cinema to audiences worldwide.
Our carefully curated catalogue features over 30 feature films and several documentaries, with
a strong focus on stories from Southeastern Europe. Our films have screened and been awarded
at top-tier festivals including Berlinale, Karlovy Vary, and Venice, earning recognition for their
distinctive voices and artistic vision.

What We Do
Over the years, we have grown from a sales-focused company into a full-spectrum film
enterprise. The arrival of producer Tijana Višnjić in 2015 sparked a new wave of creative
development and co-production initiatives. In addition to international sales, we do:

Creative development of original film and TV content
Strategic promotional campaigns, from festival launches to theatrical distribution and
Oscar® submissions
Sustainability consulting for green production practices

Our Philosophy

Whether we’re supporting emerging filmmakers or partnering with established voices, our goal
is always the same: to help stories find their audience.
We are also deeply committed to making a positive impact behind the camera. Since 2022, Soul
Food Films has led the way in green production consulting in the region, integrating sustainable
practices into every aspect of the filmmaking process—from pre-production to distribution.

Tijana Višnjić

Tijana Visnjic is an experienced film and TV producer with 20 years in the industry. She has produced nine fiction films, two documentaries, and over 100 episodes of TV content—many of which were national box office hits and high-rated regional TV series.

After earning MSc degree in Environmental Sciences and working in the public and NGO sectors, Tijana transitioned to film production, spending 11 years at Intermedia Network as a Producer, Executive In Charge Of Production and Managing Director before joining Soul Food Films in 2015. As Managing Partner, she leads international sales and original productions. An EAVE Producers Workshop graduate. Her upcoming project The Ways of Wine is supported by Creative Europe MEDIA, EAVE and Film Center Serbia.

Leveraging her expertise in both sustainability and film production, Tijana initiated Soul Food’s sustainability management consulting activities in 2022 to support the integration of environmentally responsible practices within the industry. International Screen Institute and the Torino Green Film Lab sustainability management workshops attendee.
